I’ve been in your shoes
As a child, I cherished the memories of our home always bustling with young people.
Every season, my father, who was an engineer, would bring these young men home to live with us while he trained them for their careers.
After a few months, they would move out, find jobs, and start their careers.
Little did I know that years later, I would find myself in a similar situation, unable to afford formal education. The unexpected loss of my father left me and my six siblings adrift, without jobs or skills to rely on.
